1. Beyond the Bassline: 500 Years of Black British Music @ The British Library 

Showing throughout June until August 26th 

 

Charting 500 years of history, it’s the first major exhibition about Black music in Britain

The legendary label Analog Africa is taking over Hootenanny's!

 

4. Thrive Inside @ Avalon Cafe 

21st June 

 

A club night fundraiser for Free To Be Kids -  a charity providing respite holidays, therapeutic adventures, after-school support and a range of year round residentials for children who are struggling with social/ financial disadvantage or growing up in marginalised communities.

5. Local Movements @ The Jago Dalston 

20th June 

 

London based collective showcasing the hottest in global underground music comes back to The Jago Dalston for their second night.

9. The Vinyl Factory @ 180 Studios 

Through June until 28th September 

Showcasing The Vinyl Factory’s collaborations with artists and musicians from the past 20 years as well as many new works, the exhibition features site-specific audio-visual installations and sonic experiences commissioned by The Vinyl Factory, from artists including Theaster Gates, Es Devlin, Julianknxx, Kahlil Joseph, Caterina Barbieri, Stan Douglas, Virgil Abloh, Cecilia Bengolea, Jeremy Deller, William Kentridge, Jenn Nkiru, Hito Steyerl, Carsten Nicolai and Gabriel Moses.
